I am a postdoc at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Arizona State University, advised by Prof. R. Srikant and Prof. Lei Ying. I received my Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University in 2016, advised by Prof. Lei Ying and Prof. Junshan Zhang. I received my Bachelor's degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2009.
I am interested in characterizing fundamental limits of computing systems that address emerging demands from big data analytics, and designing algorithms with optimality on throughput and delay performance.
I work on the notion of differential privacy for data privacy and its intersection with other areas including game theory, information theory and statistics.

I am currently a 4th year PhD student in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU). My supervisor is Prof. Lei Ying. I received my Bachelor's degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering and Information Science at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
My research interests include information diffusion, social network analysis and machine learning.
